It was taken outside the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield. As five o’clock approached, I was picking my way home through the ever-changing obstacle course outside Sheffield railway station. Along the way I was planning to take a picture of the illuminated clock outside the BBC’s local studios, but it turned out not to be lit today.
