The woman who inspired one of Sir John Betjeman's most famous poems has died at the age of 92. One Today listener kindly sent these school photographs.
John Morrision writes: "My mother graduated as a sports teacher from a training college in Bedford at the end of the 20s. She taught in north Wales under her maiden name Muriel Brooks and moved to Queen Anne's, Caversham in the early 1930s. So if anybody taught Joan Hunter Dunn to play tennis, then it was probably her."
