BBC West have commissioned the Poet Laureate to compose a new work in honour of Harry Patch, Britain's last survivor of the First World War trenches who is approaching his 110th birthday. On the 15th of February there was a ceremony celebrating Harry's life where Andrew Motion read the poem to Harry.
