This is my kitchen table. As you can see, I decided not to try to be artistic or to tidy up.
Today, I've been writing Christmas cards - it's a bit old fashioned of me, but I'm still using snail mail. I've also got out some things I've been buying for my daughter's Christmas stocking - I challenged myself to get everything in pink. The map of Florence is included because we're going there for Christmas with my mother and a close friend - the reason is a dreadful one, as my younger daughter died in a car crash this summer and we can't bear to do our usual Christmas
at home. For the same reason, I'm off work at the moment, otherwise
my 5pm photo would be of an equally untidy desk!
