PM Listeners sent us photos of their world at 5pm on Tuesday 5th December 2006
It shows part of my desk, my computer monitor (complete with its desktop picture of a close-up detail of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, which I love), some usual girly ephemera (fluffy cat, carving, leaf from my acer, photos of my sons, a badge one of our artists made me), my favourite picture of Paul Newman (young and very gorgeous) and some info from agents – I have been trying today, without much success, to finalise bookings for the music season I organise each spring.
This is what I usually see at this time of the evening. Unfortunately, this will change very shortly because I am having to move from the lovely Georgian building where my office has been for the past 11 years, into a crumbling 1960’s monstrosity, while the district council, for which I work, builds its new headquarters – and, frankly, I’m very sad about it.
So, I hope you enjoy my view as much as I have!
