PM Listeners sent us photos of their world at 5pm on Tuesday 5th December 2006
Here’s what I’m seeing today as PM comes to air – although I can’t listen at the moment as t’interweb won’t let me stream the BBC at the moment. You can see some of the things that are important to me when I’m here – my laptop, the very corner of my phone, and my water bottle (must drink 3.5 litres per day). There’s also the Dilbert calendar, known around these parts as the ‘seer of the future’. Life imitates Dilbert an awful lot round here. Other interesting facts are: there’s a roll of real film (Fuji Provia RDPII 120 for the film geeks out there) in it, and my poppy from Remembrance is still in the pen stand at the bottom of my second monitor. The USB-powered Christmas lights add a modicum of cheer, to what is, let’s face it – a completely geeky picture. I’d much rather have been stood somewhere outdoors admiring a view with my ‘proper camera’ – an Ebony SW45 wooden field camera – film, not digital . I could go on and be a camera geek at this point, but the drive home beckons.
