Listeners' pictures at 5pm
When you announced ‘Window On Your World’ I assumed that at 5.00, on a Tuesday, my photograph would be taken across a desk in my office.
Then I received an invitation to a dinner in Bristol, so left the office at 4.00 for the 20 minute journey in to town, assuming that the photograph would now be taken through my hotel window.
Instead, stuck in traffic, like I am every day for bloody hours, 5.00 approached – and then as the van in front pulled forward the Clifton Suspension bridge loomed above me. So that’s my photo and it made me smile, something I haven’t done on a driving journey for ages.
