As it is a pink bag week, that is to say a week in which the plastic and tins are put out for recycling, my husband (coincidentally) is on the early shift. (Had it been a green bag week, [paper collection] he would have been at work and I would have been having a snack on my own)
The picture shows the minestrone type soup I was preparing at five o'clock. We need to eat fairly early as we shall be going out to play for a morris practice.
