Listeners' pictures at 5pm
Herewith my photo from Tuesday - sorry I haven't had time to download it sooner.
I had just dropped off my 16-year-old son at Waterworld, York, where he was at a 5.00pm to 10.00pm training session for Lifeguards. I'd had to leave work at 4.15 to go and meet him off his school bus in our village 8 miles from York and then drive him in - we were there just in time for me to grab my camera - and if you look carefully at the clock on my speedometer you can see the time is 17.00. I'm looking straight out at the swimming pool entrance before turning round and going back to my office, where I stayed until 6.45pm.
My world would seem unreal without PM - I seldom hear the beginning, but usually catch the end. On Tuesday I heard the beginning but not the end, for once!
