My name is John Haycraft and I have worked in auction rooms for 45 years. At 5.00 pm on Tuesday 5th December I was sat at my desk finishing off some cataloguing of objects for sale, which included A pair of crab claws mounted on wood bases A fine late 19th century ebonised bracket clock by James Gowland of London and A Cut card scale model of St.Mary Redcliffe Church, Bristol prior to the restoration of the spire in the 1870's,under a glass dome.
I wonder if any other contributors find quite such a variety to put a value on in a day's work?
