At about this time every day I am usually in the kitchen either feeding the dog or thinking about what I am going to feed my husband for supper. These activities are always accompanied by the P.M. team and I listen until six by which time the dog is invariably asleep, my husband is home, hopefully something is cooking and I am looking forward to my evening drink.
I have sent you a particularly boring photograph of my kitchen (no supper in sight!) but on the worktop you will see some shortbread which is being cooled before being wrapped up and sent to my nephew who is a Royal Marine serving in Afghanistan. My shortbread is going down well with the troops who describe it as "hoofing" which I trust is a compliment!
