PM Listeners sent us their photos of their world at 5pm on Tuesday 5th December 2006
This is a picture of Oliver, my six year old son, taken at home in Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire. He is a great recycler of my rubbish - he loves making things out of old boxes and cartons. Here he is sticking tape on to a plastic tub, whilst waiting for me to cook his tea.
The leaves are on the table because he has just finished his maths homework, which involved arranging 5 leaves in order of size, drawing around them and colouring them in, to get an understanding of the concepts long/short, longer/shorter, longest/shortest, etc.. Much too easy for a six year old, if you ask me! But then, I did not have homework until the age of 11.
