We asked PM listeners to take a photo of what they could see at 5pm on Tuesday the 5th of December.
This picture was taken at 5pm GMT and at 9am PST. I moved to San Francisco 6 weeks ago and work at home so listen live to Radio 4 starting with PM through until the end of Front Row every day.
The view is through my window looking north - the ones I took at 7am are really beautiful with pink tinged horizons and a bright full moon - the weather has been superb since I got here. I live in the Mission district (fun, vibrant, Latino, funky, being gentrified) on the border with Noe Valley (more traditional upscale, more like Highgate but only 100 year old housing rather than 200 year old housing).
