We asked PM listeners to take a photo of their view at 5pm on Tuesday the 5th of December.
Here are my pics - all taken within the first minute of 5pm. They show my desk at work (with the radio tuned in to R4 all day long, as it has been for
11 years), the light fitting above me, and my Mother-in-law's Tongue (Sanseveria), which sits on my desk and keeps me company. As a Doctor of Botany, I probably should have a more interesting plant on my desk, but this one has a cast iron constitution which means it only needs watering when I remember. Which isn't very often.
And yes, that's a box of fruit and nut mix on my desk, which I graze on all day and then wonder why I feel ill on the way home....(and wonder why I never learn).
