We asked PM listeners to take a picture of what they could see at 5pm on Tuesday the 5th of December.
I am working from home this afternoon underneath my bikes and besides my boots hoping for a drier weekend to enjoy the Scottish outdoors.
I may not have the greatest job going but the quality of life I have here in Glasgow beats the London I knew 16 years ago. There is a different, and not so rosy, world not so far from here but my window passes it blindly.
I have had my new compact digital camera in my pocket all day so as not to forget to portray my window on the world. My photo does not do the camera justice and an interviewees comment last night on the likely low technical standard of the submissions preys slightly on my mind. " get it up ye I say, mass participation is the art not the photographs themselves dont you undertand ya great numpty"
Do I still get to listen to PM if Scotland becomes independent eventually and what do I want as an Anglo Scot. 'Spose I'll need to keep listening and form a view.
Strange what a photo can lead to....
