Nearly million people have been forced to leave their homes in California to escape the wildfires still blazing though the state. At least five person are dead. One of the most badly affected areas is Malibu home to stars like Britney Spears, John Travolta and Richard Gere.
This European Space Agency photo is taken from space and shows the smoke from wildfires across California. It's become the biggest evacuation in the United States since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
