One of the stars of the original 80s film is in the UK to promote Top Gun's release next month on DVD. The classic movie starred Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis and Val Kilmer.
Tom Skerritt plays Viper in the film. He's Top Gun's chief instructor, Commander Mike Metcalf and the first Top Gun. Tom Cruise (Maverick) tries to take him out in a jet fight but gets picked off himself after leaving his wingman.
